Power window switch question?

How can you test power window switches to see if they work? thanks, I remember it being some weird crossing wires https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

take your door panel off and hook up a dmm (digital multi meter) you should get a positive voltage reading one way and a negative voltage reading the other
