power window switch issue

power window switch issue
does it have any fuses to check etc... i changed the brass connections inside the drivers door window switch that controls the rear left window and i think i grounded the connections . the rest of the windows are working. just this one stopped... how to trouble shoot it...
???

In my civic each window has its own fuse. i would check those. if they are good it could be the switch i would use a voltage meter and test the wires that are connected to the window motor and verify when u press the switch u got power if u do then u know its a motor problem if it don't have power then if it dont then u got a bad switch or a connection prob

Remove your door panel and splice the two wires goint to the regulator from the switch....next tap those wires to the battery and see if that direct connection moves the window. If it does then you have either a groud problem (in the door) or a wiring issue from the fusebox to the switch. If that direct connection doesnt move the window then its the regularor or the switch(s).
