Re: Power window problem (msajr38)
It could just be off track. Is it closing all the way? Or is there a permanent gap? That happened to me. Don't keep using it. I ended up needing a new motor for the window. It cost like $250 bucks to get it fixed.

Re: (Red98EX)
When you're sliding the window all the way up, does it grind any at the very top? If not, then all the teeth on the regulator is fine. Your regulator assembly just may be crooked. Remove the interior door panel and adjust the regulator assembly on the front-half up or down. There should be like 3 or 4 bolts there. I don't remember exactly. On the rear half of the regulator assembly there should be 2 bolts that run horizontally.

USArmMP25's window was doing something similar to that, and I his wife fixed it...We took the panel off, I removed the bolt that is down on the bottom closer to the hinge and moved the track to the right to let the window go into the track then we put it all back together and has worked fine since...he has a 99 Civc Ex.If you like you can pm me...

01CivicEx - Can you please elaborate as to what was done. If you have pics that would be great too. The same problem has happened to me and I don't know how to fix it. I opened my panel and tried to fix it but still nothing. Here is how it looks.
Was it this bolt that you moved? Because I tried moving it and it won't budge.
