Re: Power window chaos (LSej1)
Is there any sound at all? It could be that the window itself is in a bind. Also, be sure to check all of your connections in that system, unplug and plug them back in. Check for voltage at the motor with the switch activated and work your way back in the system from there to check for breaks in the wire.
None of my windows will go down if that "saftey" switch right above the window switch, is pressed, it's only supposed to prevent the passenger's side window from going down, I think. Hope this is helpful.

Re: Power window chaos (cachase1)
The window isnt in a bind because i tried to just plug in the new motor/regulator before it was installed in the car. so the window wasnt even on the new regulator yet and it still didnt get power to the motor. Only thing i can think of is a break in the wire somewhere. Ill have to get a power meter and check for power....unless anyone has any ideas

Tested window switch on another car...the switch works...so i am guessing it must be a wiring problem...
