Power window binds after reg/motor/glass replacement
Hello,
My passenger window (2DR) was smashed in and I subsequently replaced the glass. The window would not roll up without tugging on the glass as it came up, so I went ahead and replaced the motor. The regulator seemed to function fine and had plenty of lubricant, so I left it alone. Still had the same trouble, so I put in a new regulator and lubed the rubber channels again.
Now, with the new regulator, motor AND glass, I am still left with a non-working window. The rubber channels are in pristine condition, as I had to pull them out to ensure I did not have any remnants of glass hiding in them. No tears or abrasions and they were thoroughly cleaned & lubed before the new window went in. I've cleaned and lubed them each time I've had the window out, so I know the channel is fine. I'm beginning to wonder if they damaged the door somehow, possibly by crawling in the window? Maybe bending the inner sheet metal some... I dunno.
I did try re-adjusting the rear track as well, ala this thread:

Shortly, I plan on replacing the channel guides (err... sashes?), but I'll have to wait a bit, I've exhausted all the funds I have available for this car this month (replaced shocks/tires/brakes/rotors & drums/wheel cylinders/upr control arms/tie rod ends/ball joints/intake,exhaust,headgasket/hoses, up & downstream oxy sensors, etc.
I am getting frustrated with not driving this car... maybe I'll just pull the stereo and drive around without a window for now... but UGH.
