power steering whine
it's dead beat cold here in ohio now...
today it's 18F but it feels like 2...
Yesterday after a sporty trip on the interstate, I added oil to my car, then took off for home... near the ending leg of my trip I noticed a whiny noise coming from the car.
Never had any power steering problems before. If anything the wheel would be a little stiff if I went to drive after the car has been sitting overnight during this winter season... that seemed somewhat expected to me, but nothing other than that.
now i have this whining coming from the ps pump, its a tad bit more noticeable today than last night. never had any problems with my power steering before, and still don't. But i'm greatly concerned because I dont like this noise at all anymore now that I know what it really is. It can't really be heard in the cabin with music on, but it can be heard very well with the hood up.
what do you guys think?
oh yeah, incase it matters, im pushin a 92 EG8 with that d15 base model

No it's full - from what I remember seeing, pretty sure tho ill check again later and i'll make it known if it's not full, and I've only used Genuine Honda fluid. Never really needed much but maybe a year ago I topped it off with Genuine Honda Powersteering fluid I got from the local dealership. Matter of fact haven't even used it all and its still in the basement at home.

Bump for some help/advice.
The whine has been coming and going. Sometimes its there, sometimes its not so apparent.
Maybe it has something to do with the freezin temperatures we're now getting in ohio? We're well under 10F
