There is the big one that goes to the pump, one about the same size to the left of it, and then a third smaller one to the left of that.
Which ones do i need to loop? and what do I do with the third?

Re: (dunkd)
what i have done to 2 diff car was loop the 2 biggest lines with a 5/16 line and the small one I vented it to about intake level. I also drained most of the fluid out of the system. there are diff way to doing it, this is the way ive done it. As cheap as possible.

yup motor is out, that is why I want to do this now before I put the motor in.
did you just cut the metal lines and put on a hose w/ hose clamps? or did you get the barbed fittings?

Re: (dunkd)
i cut the biggest line about 1" from where it goes in the rack, but make sure you leave anough room to clamp the line. the other big one i cut off near the bottom of the car where it starts going towards the frame. I did this so that you dont have to try and get a big loop going where the line might kink. Make the loop fairly big so that you can tie it to a steel line on the frame so that it dosnt touch motor or drag on the road. The other small liine, i cut it near the other line near bottom of car so that you can tie it off to the line you just made and go up with it. But make sure you drain some of the fluid out, i didnt the first time and it came out of the vent line alittle. But any way, this should only cost you some fuel line and 3 clamps.

no, just cut the lines where you want them, then crank the steering wheel alittle. dont drain to much out cause you will want some of it for lubrcation.
