Default Power steering leak

Today I got out from worn and noticed a whining noise . Checked my ps fluid and it was empty . Filled it up and then I saw it dripping from under the reservoir.
Do I replace my reservoir or hose ?

Depends on which one is cracked...take it apart.

I'm gonna look into replacing the reservoir but I'm really tight on money right now .. And I mean it's leaking bad .. Like I filled it up and 10 minutes it was almost half way.
No body has fixed this before ??

I think the smartest thing to do is to locate the leak and go from there on what needs to be replaced. Inspect the entire system, clean it up so you can spot the leak.

also, it wont really hurt you to pull the power steering belt and have the system inactive until you fix it...i drive my ej1 minus the belt pretty much permanently.
