Power steering help
Alright I have a 96 Honda civic dx hatchback and I got a 94 b18c1 gsr motor installed in it. Now I need help with the power steering. I have no clue what I would need to keep it or what I would have to replace to eliminate it all together. I would like information on both so plz let me know if hat u know on the subject. Thanks

You can simply take off the power steering unit and belt and leave the rack you have in their although it might not be an ideal ratio without the power sterring assist. If you want to do it correct though you will grab a manual steering rack and pull the old power steering rack out too. Then you will have a rack with a proper ratio for manual steering it's lighter then a power rack as well.

I have been doing research on this topic and the most popular solution is to loop the lines, the down side I found on doing so is that u have to fight the steering to turn but does work. They say u can empty up to 75% of the fluid out of the power steering unit and make it easier to turn and still have enough fluid to keep the power steering from locking up (50 50 chance that I have read). Would this be recommended?
