POWER STEERING HELP!?!?!
ive got a 97 civic ex guys and the previous owner took off the power steering . . . .
I'm trying to reinstall this. I've got the belt on and everything is connected . . . . the problem seems to be that the pump isn't pushing strong enough to get the fluid through the sending line, its just pressure building up it seems,
Do I have to flush the ps or what? What would be the problem?

Re: POWER STEERING HELP!?!?! (BlackRS)
do this. fill the resivoir with fluid. turn the car on and sit there and turn the wheels from side to side. full lock to full lock then keep adding fluid as needed, this usually builds the pressure. also check belt tension.
good luck
