power steering on 94 ex with 97 ls swap
K before anyone decides to take up space telling me to search, I have already done that and have note come across anything that gives a clear answer. Every one I have seen turns into a bunch of people asking questions and never getting answers or getting conflicting information...
I have a 94 civic EX that I am letting my mom use and she is complaining about the power steering. I never worried about it till now cuz I don't use it so I don't know exactly what parts to get to hook it back up
I am out of state and don't want her to get ripped off by some shop trying to make a million dollars (last week some guy tried to sell her a stock exhaust sytem for $1275 just the parts from cat converter back) who knows how much tey will try to charge for ps install.
I still have all the ps parts that were originally on the 94 ex but nothing from the LS. the LS is a 97 if it matters
can I use the pump? is there a bracket made that would allow me to reuse the stock pump or do I NEED the pump that goes with the motor?
I would much rather by one piece than all the parts from a different car low on $$$

Re: power steering on 94 ex with 97 ls swap
you'll need the ls brackets and ls pump. since the adjustment screw is in a different place. the line should match up. if you get a 97 pump. 98-01 is a different high pressure line.

I found a pump and brackets but they are for a 94 integra... would it work or would I HAVE to have that same year as the motor?
