Power loss on half a tank of gas? normal
so im noticing, that when i have a full tank of gas my car is alot peppier, i notice this because when i take off at full throttle with a full tank of gas, i get a nice 1 second squeel from the tires..
now when im riding around with half a tank of gas.. i can slam on the throttle and the car wont squeel at all, just picks up and goes.. like i lost alot of bottom end power.. is this a fuel pump problem?.. more pressure when the tank is full so more power?.. is this normal

I bet it has more to do with the amount of weight over the rear of the car. A full tank is heavier. So when you mash the pedal on a full tank the rear is squatting more which in turn causes the front tires to loose traction letting them squeal

well thank you guys for your thoughts, and i did think that it might have been the weight, but its a little more than a small difference, i would say at least a 5hp drop, the squeeling tells me and the lunge of the car from a stop tells me, how is this post retarded?. what if my fuel pump isnt working and only providing the right pressure with a full tank?.. nice comment

You show a dyno plot with a half tank of gas, then fill it up and dyno it again to prove this "5whp" loss and then you won't get made fun of. You coming in here and basing your facts on the error laden *** dyno and "wheel spinning" and "car lunging" is about as oxy-moronic as you can get in a tech forum.
