powder coat guy f***ed up suggestions??

Default powder coat guy f***ed up suggestions??

ok had a buddy have his work powder coat my b16 valve cover red looks decent he even cut the side so i could show off my new cam gearslol, anywayz the guy did not tape off or seal up the bottom side, so theres a bit of red paint and some grit from the sand blasting on the underside, well i got the majority cleaned off but that passage you cant get in may have some crap in it , anyone have any ideas how to clean that area out , and anyone kno what that passage is anyways ???? thanx guys

Use an air compressor to blow the **** outta the baffle...I've submerged mine in water and cleaned it up with a compressor...no problems with water or anything staying in there at all. If you're that worried get some alcohol and use it to clean in there...I wouldn't imagine you have a ton of **** caked in there.

i bought a powder coated vc for my stock d15 and it had some grit on the bottom. guy said most of his had that and it wasnt a problem, well its been on for over a year and when i removed it sure enough nothing had come off... long story short it should be ok, if your really worried about it buy like some files or something at home depot cause p.c. aint easy to come off.

gotcha thanks guy, i did start cleanin it and it came off with steel wool i got all of off to, then i put it in the tub and hooked a hose on the pcv nip and blew it out bunch of nasty **** came out, but yep worked i jus wont worry bout it i seen to got it good enough
