post your pictures of headlights painted yellow?
Like the title says im tring to see if anyone has ever painted there actual headlights yellow and see what it looks like.

Yeah yeah I'm sure this belongs some place else but I won't be a dick......
They aren't really painted more like tinted. Its more of a blue and yellow too. I figured it was close enough.

Most people don't use paint... its a film. I forget the company, its like Laminex? Something like that?

damn sorry i posted in the wrong forum but i wanted to see what it would look like on a 92-95 civic. like the other ppl said you dont have to be a dick about it. it wont let me post anything in appearance.

the human eye is most sensitive to a yellow wavelength, which yields more definition on objects; least sensitive to blue, which is however, one of the brightest, sharpest lengths and frequency (therefore bounces easily too)
This is why school buses and new fire trucks are yellow and why red light doesnt effect eyes in dark environments.

The yellow film you see on many race car headlamps is a protective barrier against shattering in the event of debris being kicked up at your car. This film can be applied to street cars as well, and it will help visibility in certain climates and conditions, but you'll get hassled by the popo's a lot.
