I got 2.2's when I first got them. Seems like over the winter they got hard as rocks and now they hop like mad . I get high 2.3 with them now and 2.1 with the 555r's

well, keep in mind azenis are stiff side walled tires, aimed more at performance dealing with turning such as autox. if you want great results from a drag tire, get a drag tire, nitto 555R, or get some actual slicks for the strip. drag tires generally have softer sidewalls. so, dont be dissapointed, azenis arent drag tires.

The key is getting them in their "sweet spot" temperature wise and having them at the right psi.
By the end of the night I would do my 5-6k drop to clear the tires of dirt/rocks before staging and would experience NO wheelspin. (b18c w/ bolt-ons in a 92 hatch) 14.01@99

I got a 2.333 out of them at 20 psi. I think I will try 25 psi next time and 15 psi. I have to play with the psi some more.

i think he was saying 7psi of boost, not 7psi tire pressure. you'd be rollin the 1320 on flats if you tried that

Re: (Spoon)
My buddy LILHIBBS on the board pulled a 2.0 60ft with some almost bald azenis. Just heat them up with a really small burnout, run about 15-20 psi of pressure and know how to use your clutch and your good to go. I ran 2.2 60ft on yokohama avid t4 all season tires.

Beyond him, I "believe" some of you are failing to realize what these tires are good for. Listen to this individual for just a moment or at least read his comment:
