Possible to switch from power to manual windows?
My power windows went sour on me, I prefer manual. Is it possible to change and what parts would I be needing?
-Manual door panel
-Manual crank unit?
All advice appreciated

Re: Possible to switch from power to manual windows? (black sohc civic)
You'd need a manual door panel. You'd obviously need the crank. Those are the 2 you mentioned.
What you also need to swap is the power window regulator. You need to put in a manual regulator. I believe the lever that slides to open/close the glass is identical as its only how the regulator hooks up to it. Other then that, You should be okay.
What year civic btw? I'm getting rid of my manual windows sometime in the future once i finish my wiring.

car is a 99 ek coupe wanna trade ? lol
thanks for the input, my only concern how to work behind the door skin. after taking off my door panel theres not much room to stick your hand in there to take out and install new parts. i have no idea of how a manual door looks inside. anyone have a picture of the door panel off on a manual window powered ek?
