Default Possible rod knock? b16

ok so i've been driving my car without knowing that my oil level was low. Now its making some noise, I've searched around and found some similar answer but I want to make it for sure that it is that. Now if it is, what should I do now? Im not about to waste money on rebuilt ($2000 @ redzone) ($2200 @ dnr). I was thinking of doing a poorman's typeR or go w/ b20 or lsvtec. Either way its going to cost alot of money. I need your input on this one so please help a brother out.

heres a short clip i took earlier

you could get another stop bottom end cheaper then $2000.... that sounds bad..id build it have a fresh block unless you are on a budget... my block sounded the same i drove it for 45 minutes trying to make it home and snapped a rod, had a big whole in the block...

stop bottom end? you mean stock right, If I was to get another stock I might as well go w/ ls or b20 vtec.

Have you ever adjusted your valves?

hey my b16 spun a bearing and the rod was knockin 2, so then i decided to put my b20 block under my b16 head and then about 3k miles off beating it, it has a rod knockin now 2,so i got some new high comp pistons, acl bearings, micropolished and balanced crank, and arp rod bolts, so if u go lsvtec do yourself a favor and get u some arp rod bolts

Yea, try this. Check your valve clearance (there are a few DIYs here on H-T). It sounds like you need a valve adjustment to me; moreso than a rod knock anyway.

maybe a bent valve or something. how many miles on the b16? or maybe it just needs a valve adjustment really bad.

whats wrong with the b16 why you wanna ditch it? if you really want a different bottom end, get an ls bottom. if you go boost the ls will hold more boost better than the b20 due to the thin *** sleeves.

i dont know exactly but ive been told when i first bought it (with the car) that it had 90k miles, probably lil over 100k. Car is kinda slow right now, thats why I wanna go w/ maybe gsr block but yeah ill pass on the boost tho.
