Default Possible ISB problem

What are the symptoms of a bad Input Shaft Bearing? Where is it located, and how long will it last? Because I put in a tranny I got off of craigslist and it makes a horrible gear grinding noise when its under load (slowing down in 1st/2nd gear) or accelerating full throttle. It drives fine and the clutch grips fine it just makes this noise. And its not when going into the gears, it shifts like butter. So I'm just wondering if its the input shaft bearing, and how hard it would be to replace this.

nah the pilot bearing is fine, and the throwout bearing is new. I know there is another beraing in the transmission, its a input shaft bearing, i just not sure exactly where it is or what happens when it goes bad.

the tranny has been in there for 2 days. And I filled it up when I put it on there.
