Is it possible to have AC in the summertime?
My AC doesnt work in the summertime. So I have to use my 2-60 air conditioner.
I once went to the honda dealer to have it checked out and they recharged it and said everything was fine.
It still didnt work
I have a Civic CX air conditioner system on my d16.
do I have to get a b series to have good AC?
Who has the same prob?

something is fucked up. I have been in numerous cx's that have had a/c that blows cold. B series and D series use most of the same A/C parts.

My A/C in my Cx blows cold as ice i just re charged the system. and it is nice and cold i never use it though since this is the first car i have ever owned to have it. But check to see if it is charged if it isn't check for leaks (w/ the die kit) and fix what needs to be fixed re charge it and have cold A/C.

I have a VX civic and with the old VX engine and tranny my AC didn't work very well, but with the B18c and the Y21 tranny(with those short gears) my AC works great, even in the Hot AZ sun!
Just try keeping it in a lower gear then you would normally till it cools off the inside of your car, also start out using the fresh air setting to blow the hot air out of your car, instead of forcing your AC unit to cool the air inside your car(withc is alot hotter then the outside air)..After the inside car temp cools off for awhile change it from Fresh Air in Recyled Air to keep it nice and cool

it takes my horsepower away but no cold air comes out. It is the only about 2 degrees cooler than what would come out with out the AC on
