yes, can be easier then in car if you have good impact, but when in car it gives ya leverage if all you have is a wrench and a big *** breaker bar

it is mutch mutch eisier out of the car. if you have a in impact gun use that on the crank pully, if you do not there are tools you can buy just for taking of the crank pully for b series, i believe moroso makes one and mabe some other companies. i have also seen some that are home made... 3 foot 2in. pipe conected to a T with a large nut welded onto one end that fits inside of the pully. im sorry i don't know the size off the top of my head. but once the tool is placed in the crank pully you can then us a braker bar to take of the bolt.
then loosen the tensioner bolt, and remove all the plastic covers
then pull off the timing belt
to put the timing belt back on line up the crank grear hash mark with the dot on the oil pump, like up the cam limes facing eachother at the hash mark on the inside plastic cover with the UP on the grears facing UP
once everything is aligned titen up the tensioner and recheck everything for aliagnment... hope everything goes well for you.....
a manual really helps though becuase it has pictures.
