Is this possible?
i have a d16y8 and i wanted to know if i could swap over some zc pistons for higher compression without having to have the motor tuned by a shop??

Re: (yoffer)
you dont have to have it tuned, the gain will be minimal at best, and if the extra 5 horsepower REALLY matters then go for the tune they arent that aggressive

Why not just go with Forged Pistons.. your already going to pull the motor apart to put in ZC pistons.. Spend alittle cash and do it the right way!

i dont mean to kinda bite off your thread, but i have a jdm SOCH NonVtec zc, and if i put a z6 vtec head on it i hear i might actually loose power... due to my slightly more aggresive cams and higher compression... any help? is it worth it?
