Default POS 2000 SI

I'm currently working on a friends 00 Si. It started out as a nightmare, ie... idle mixture screw stripped out, stop nut for throttle loose and backed off, tps screwed with, 5 nuts holding the intake manifold on w/ blue rtv and the old gasket still there, and last but not least the eacv, and knock sensor plugs crossed. I have all this straightened out except for that the Air Temp Sensor is flashing a code, I checked the voltage at the plug and it's a 5.1 v dc. And checked the resistance cold at 2 ohms. Susposly okay, well friend went to pick up new ATS, installed it and its still flashing a code for ATS. Any one familiar with these OO's? Does anyone seriously know or think that the idle mix screw being stripped is causing this to trip the ATS code, oh yeah this thing lags bad no ***** at all, but runs smooth. I know thats from the idle mix being screwed with and the throttle stop. P.S. THANX TIMMY and WAYNE, your mistakes keep me busy.

fix your TPS first then reset ecu and see if it still shows up.

Either Reset the ecu by doing the following:

1) Pull your ECU fuse for 3-4 mintues
or
2) Pull the negative battery cable off for like 10 minutes

both work

I know how to reset the computer. The ATS won't go away... I'm putting a skunk2 intake mani and 70 mm tb on it this weekend. So hopefully I might clear it up on accident if not then I guess I'll have to break out the fault finder.

O2 sensor/pos.... got it going no codes, and the power steering and iacv plugs were crossed.
