10.75:1 pistons? thats a bit high for turbo.. a d16z6 has a 9.2 comp ratio i think..if your gonna run turbo why not run the stock compression or 9.0 or max 9.5

is this for a street car that compression seems a bit high for a turbo'd car especially one that will be driven on the street frequently? i'ld go with 9.5:1 or lower compression.

yes this is daily driven.I have constantly been told to build up the internals cause of wanting to run higher boost? Why is it too much compression? With 10.75 pistons what would that bring me to?

10.75 compression pistons means 10.75:1 compression.yes u build internals to handle boost, strength wise..but that doesnt mean u build to add compression. IN GENERAL (there are exceptions on race cars) ..lower comps=turbo cars....higher comps=na
for example..look at the type R motor stock. high compression....look at a gsx motor from an eclipse...low compression with the turbo..take that turbo off..that motor aint going no where.

so what is the best solution for myself that you all beleive? Is it that bad of an idea for higher compression on a turbo? Wouldn't this mean I would benefit from low boost and kill others with high boost? This is my beleifs?,also will an msd internal coil make a big difference in the ingnition?

9 or 9.5:1 with a built bottom. high compression usually adds detonation on a f/i application especially on pump gas.
