Which end of the car for starters?
Can you tell which side? Repeated popping, or just one pop? Is it loud? Speed related? Over bumps? More details. |
Re: popping sound??? (t0p_sh0tta)
it is front drivers side. it is sometimes one sometimes multiple its fairly loud inside the car

cv joints/axles? I've been around several hondas with popping when your going through turns and stuff and thats what its always been

Re: (HondaVTEC1993)
we put brand new halfshafts on the car. the old ones were bad but the only thing i can think of is the rack and pinion.
|
I'm betting on the front LCA bushings. That's what it was in my car, both sides.
It makes this loud pop/clunk noise, one-three times. You can usually feel it too, in the pedals. |

Not really. I mean, replace it when you can, but it's not life/death. |

Well, mine happened all of the sudden too. It just happens more frequently as it wears more. |

$41.95 for the entire Energy Suspension front control arm bushing set (both sides) from Summit Racing. http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku Beats paying $100.xx for each side from Honda. |

Most likely. If you bring the arms and kit to an alignment shop and pay in cash, I'm sure they'd cut you a deal. |
