when mine did the same thing it turned out to be the uca, changing the bolt helped but putting another one in from the junkyard got rid of it. I say check all the bolts and joints for anything loose, I discovered mine when working in that area of the car, grabbed the uca with my hand to pull and felt it pop. It was the only thing I didn't check, so check everything. From bottom up if it helps you keep track.

Is it as you are stopping or after you stop and you begin moving again...if so aside from what others have posted make sure you're calipers are all ok and no corroded because the brakes may be seizing on the rotors due to that or over heating.

I had a CLUNK that happened on the left side when I would decelerate to a stop, and accelerate from a stop. Turns out that my front LCA was bent. I replaced it, and it hasn't happened since.

check to make sure you have all the shims in your brake caliper because the pads can move and make clunking sounds, this happened to me.

"Clunking" during accel/decel usually indicates a bad axle. That's the first suggestion in the factory service repair manual, as well as the Haynes manual.

I have the same problem when I hit bumps or drive on crappy roads, though I think its my radius arm on my traction bar setup....
