poor mans type r help!
i have a 00 si that i am using the stock engine harness from on the motor. i have a jumper for the ecu and distributor but still cant get the car to start.. put the stock computer back in to check for codes and got a coolant temp sensor code.. motor was running when pulled form previous car but like i said will not start now any help would be greatly appreciated..

You need to clarify better. Is the harness obd2? And the ecu obd2? I'm pretty sure the si ecu's aren't immobilized incase you switched ign or ecu. Other wise check your ground at thermostat housing. And the rest are in good shape. I run 4 or 5 grounds on all my hondas per bad ground especially at thermostat housing means no closed series for main relay equals no spark/fuel ect. Try listening for fuel pump after checking grounds

sorry harness is obd2b and ecu is obd2a. thermostate ground is on and tight gettin spark and fuel just not starting. fuel pump is priming fine.

I'm assuming you're saying this is a GSR bottom end and your stock B16 head. If so then why are you running a dizzy conversion harness? I would be willing to bet that this is where your problem lies. You should try your stock OBD2B distributor.

its a gsr bottom end with a integra type r head! and the starter is turning over car wont run!!

check to make sure your timing belt did not slip or come loose and check the timing on the engine that is the only thing i could think of

Make sure you have spark plugs in the head
Definatly check you timing, is it just turning over at
all, or is it just free spining
no signs of ignition what so ever ?

There are plugs in the head and its just free spinning no signs of wantin to fire off.. and the distributor is not 180 its been checked.

^ no u cant on a D series i have done prob 12 d series swaps mini me, z6, b7 turbo, so on ALL honda dizzy are the same setup one larger tooth/ angle cut on tooth for rotor
so STFU when u dont know what u are talking about AND I PLAINLY SAID IT HAS TO BE FORCED IN DID NOT SAY IT CANT BUT HAS TO MAN HANDLED INTO IT AND U CAN TELL IT NOT RITE
