poor man type r
im currently building a poor man and wondering if anyone can tell me some specs and if anyone has done exactly what im doing. fully built head ported and polished stage 2 cams dual springs titanium retainers stainless steel valves 1000 cc injectors top feed billet fuel rail skunk 2 intake and block je pistons eagle rods stock gsr crank arp studs sleeved 8.8:1 compression gsr tranny and garret t3 t4 57 trim kit pushing 28 lbs talk to me please

with the stuff you're talking about, you need a bigger turbo. think 60-1 or GT30R/GT35R. Also you should check those 'stage 2 cams' and make sure you don't get more than a little overlap (exhaust scavenging) or you'll be shooting all that boost right out of the exhaust before it has a chance to be compressed and go kaboom. More psi of boost does not = better. with a built motor like yours, more CFM (bigger turbo) = better. Good luck and with those specs you should have no problem hitting 600 HP with supporting mods (intercooler, fuel pump, a good tuner who knows how to break your motor in and then dial it in right)

yea i was worried about the stage 2 cams im still in the process of purchasing this **** def isnt cheap but with the turbo i was just worried about the motor having problems spoolin a bigger trim cuz my friends trying to sell me a 73 trim pushing out way more chms then the 57 trim but dont want to get full spool in high rpms
