Default POLL:New Project, what shell?

OK so I am selling my project car integra, it is a DA9. Built a LSVTEC for it, now im done with it and want to move on. But I am stuck with this question....what shell do I use next? I have been leaning towards a Del Sol, just because I like the look of it. Motor will almost def. be a built gsr turbo, but thats in a month or so. I just need to figure out what shell, note this; it will not be another integra.

WWHTD?

Edit: I know this late but I do now realize that it is a SI hatch for 92-95 not ex.

there is no such thing as a 92-95 EX hatch the EX was a coupe or sedan. the SI was the hatchback form of the EX in the states

Thank you for clearing that up with me. I am an integra person by nature, so I know all the differences in all models from DA to DC5, tryin to learn more here and get into the civics.

Come on guys, don't tell me thats all the civic forum has got to offer!

I just recieved a phone call and may have a very good potential for a buyer, so I'll be pickin up a eg or ek soon.

Yeah I would too if i was building a quarter mile track car. This is gonna be my DD with built motor on side, swap it in in about a month or so. I want a nicer model, so nothin below 92. I've already got GSR leathers im puttin in, I'll make it fit I always do. So it'll be somethin nice. I did see a bomb *** EG hatch with a newer SOHC motor, don't really care bout the mileage but it did have the JDM consol (Amber lighting), and was Si, black, and pretty clean. Only thing is they are askin 4 grand so im sayin [freak] that ****, not for a 92.

i would run a eg hatch . if you plan on road racing any i would go eg hatch cx model because there the lightest. but if you want a nice dd with some added features the si hatch has a sunroof but no powered windows stock. i would go eg hatch or coupe but thats my .02 cents goodluck

So how would I get power doors and windows on a eg hatch? Get the doors of a coupe that has it would the doors fit? That would be easier than gettin the motors and actuators and what not.

Thanks alot for the input!

So I would be gettin the door panels, window motor. Thats good cuz the first thing I am doing is dropping in an alarm, so I'm thinkin of puttin in the panels, the motor, then takin it to the place and gettin an alarm put in with door actuators and wiring it to the unlock lock switch on the door panel. Would this work?

you basically need all the door and power window stuff to have powered windows. but you will also need the interior wiring harness to make your life easier. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DA_9 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">So how would I get power doors and windows on a eg hatch? forget the wire harness i made my own obd0-obd1 wire harness, all wit plugs wires and a soldering tool . I can do it. i just need the wiring diagrams, or Helms.

But it looks like ppl are leanin more towards an EK, so i dunno. I dont really care I love them all, I just want to know what is liked more and suggested more by popular demand.

Dude, make sure it is a 92-93 DA, they are already OBD-1.

They got the circular center in the steering wheel, easiest way to tell among other things. OBD0 DA's have ALOT of wiring problems not to mention having to change it to OBD1 and dealing with that shyt. Trust me on that I know this.

Get an EG CX hatch... I should have mine in two weeks with an LS swap and GSR tranny. Hopefully in a few months it should be boosted.

LOL see what i mean thats why you need to be original.
hell i like the 88-91 prelude's myself..
and i'll laugh at everybody trying to "customize"
a car that everyone owns and theres nothing custom
about doing what everyone else is...
