In a point of giving up building a Y7
Guys, I have figular out getting a D series block build is waste of time and money, plus, the amount of money you pay for it. prolly already more expensive then a B16 swap with some xtra goodies on it.
Intake/Exhaust
Js intake, DC 4-2-1 header, Tanabe B pipe, 5Zigen Border 304 muffler
engine Mod.
ported and polished I. Manifold compression cranked up. MSD
thats about it for now.. BUT.. guess what, with all these mod.. i can barely feel a difference.
Then i gutted the interior, a lot lighted. but still slow just from super slow to somewhat slow.. oh well.
I missed my DOHC block!!!!! shouldnt have over drive it and blown the engine.

Wow, you just realized a non-vtec d-series with bolt ons is slow? I havent even bothered with bolt-ons yet and I could have told you that.

I wouldnt be bragging about big differences if I had that on a B-Series though.
a B motor is better for NA guys, but the b16 doesnt offer much over a Dseries.
Ther have been some good numbered NA D motors, but they are gonna cost you more than B build would. I think most of this board will argue to boost if you want good D series gains.
Don't fret, unless you have something big to do, build it up slowly and enjoy it.

Re: (Tapen00n)
I was thinking of that too.. just TC that bitch and have fun until another full blown.. like my old B16....
gosh, try to get more power from an NA block is sooo much difficult then my prev TC rockets.. but then its quite fun sometimes to see it (the engine) grow bigger..
getting a 0.8Bar kit is not expensive..oh well..will see..
