Plugs
My plugs last about 6 months until they get dirty enough so that when i try starting my car, it takes a bit longer for it to actually start and last feb, wouldnt even start. Since there are lots of hills around where i live at, i just coast down hills cause there arent any turns (and cops) so just coast and my idle is at about 1000rpm. I usually shift at around 2500 or 3000 rpm. I talked to a friend and he said it was cause my engine was just revolving so slow and i therfore had built up on my plugs. Could that be it or some thing else? What can i do cause i need to take the plugs out and sand them down again.....thanks a bunch.
Yo how long till im not a Noob anymore?

your motor might be filled with carbon deposits in which case plugs will get dirty faster...
other than that, oil/coolant leaks, running too rich/low can damage the plugs etc
as far as noob goes, it's two weeks and a post in the technical forum... search for exact details

What year/make/model is it? How many miles. If it has higher miles the carbon build up would be normal. You could try seafoam, do a search tons of info. But the up and down hill driving is probley the main reason for this, and your freind would be right.

Re: (turner7205)
yea my car has 229788 miles on it on a bone stock b16a3. Its been running on premium ever since 90000 miles so that should have helped a little. Thanks for the input.

The premium might have helped a little but nothing to brag about. Have you dont proper maintenece to it. I assume you have considering you used premium gas? If you didnt maintain it, its probably the high miles.

Re: (turner7205)
well maintenance was done by me.....valvoline high life engine oil and fram filter every 3000 miles since i got it when it had 213 000 miles on...plugs and wires done in march with NGK stuff. K/N filter last november. Just flushed my tranny. Is it possible to just buy a final drive from a LS or GSR tranny or would it not work? I hate driving highway and having it at 4100 rpm going only 75...thanks a bunch.
