92 hatch with a turboed H22 ran 9.88 with STOck ignition components other than the colder plugs. That tells me that your lightly moded vehilce will do just fine.

Come on kido, tell me why you feel a non modified engine will deteriorate the conductivity of the wire in five years. Unless the rubber insulation dries out, typically these things last longer than that.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not to disagree with you, but doesn't Honda recommend a plug/wire/cap/rotor replacement at 30K miles? Definitely something at 60K.
Oh, and I would also recommend stock wires.

Typical response of an ignorant moron who doesn't realize that kills does not add to your post count and I am an ASE master certified tech for Lincoln-mercury.
You say that they typically last longer than that? What do you have to base this off of? Your own experience with your car? Or your transexual life partner has a 2000 with original wires?
I see anywhere from 5-20 cars a week newer than 2002 that need plug wires, wait why is that? Oh, yea, it's because of the high mileage on the vehicle, or maybe because they are old and the rubber insulation cannot hold to water very much any more, or it could be a number of other things.
Don't ever assume that because you are older means you are smarter. You are obviously a self loving ***** that thinks he knows everything.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Helms is not going to show you what actually happens in the real world. No service manual will.

I've used Accell, MSD and Morosso on my road race CRX and they have all failed (came apart). I switched to NGK blues but I have race on them yet. Time will tell.

It has a lot of us here at work laughing. If youre going to say you're a master mechanic, you should at least do some research before you post. Fact is, it takes a lot to make an OEM Honda wire go bad. True, maybe this guy has a non typical case if he's got 250,000 miles on the car but that's why I said I highly doubt he needs new wires. Just trying to key him off to the fact that there is a lot of misinformation out there about people needing to replace wires every 15,000 miles. If you want to be acerbic right off the bat, go expletive yourself.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Since you chose to block me from replying to you privately, I have decided to publically make a fool of you.
When you can find in this thread all of the things you are accusing me of you can go right ahead and laugh. But since you have allready proven that you lack the comprehension skills that a fish might posses I highly doubt you will be able to.
Don't send me PM's any more.

Wow.
Out of most of the wires out there, I like the quality of how the NGK's "feel". (not saying thats all I base it on). I will always run OEM, or NGK's.
