plexiglass/lexan moonroof and motor removal
 

Any of you guys ever heard of anyone replacing their moonroof glass with plexiglass/lexan? I know that there are carbonfiber plugs for them, but i' rather have something that's transparent.

And also, has anyone taken the moonroof motor out and installed a manual window crank where you crank the moonroof shut if the motor dies?

I'm sure you can. Just cut the right size and drill it in there.
