This is probally a pretty strange question but I was wondering... Is there any way to make my exhaust pipe hang about an inch, inch 1/2 lower? I got a short shifter a while ago, and it was REALLY hard to shift from 4->5, anyways i figured it was a combination of me always tightening down stuff to tight and it was hitting the exhaust pipe but didnt realize how bad... I got under there one day and got my friend to roll through the gears and when she put it in fifth, the linkage and all acctually pushed the exhaust pipe over-down and then over to the other side of itself, It cant be extremely bad, but where the shifter and the shift linkage meet is being scratched up (which doesnt matter really...) but also slowly being slightly bent. I was thinkin i could just undo one rubber hanger and leave the other one but then I realized that its my brothers integra that has two rubber hangers, i only have one so any thoughts?... This is a pretty wierd/stupid/strange question ... but Ive brainstormed and blank so I figured what the heck ill ask h-t. (hey that rhymes )
thanks in advance,
jana

go to a ricer headquarter (pep boy) and get a universal rubber hanger which has a few more holes in the rubber so you can hang it a little lower instead of 1 hole like the stock.

replace the rubber hanger with a longer one, u can pick up rubber hangers iwth multiple holes so you can choose the length. you could also jam a piece of wood in between the exhaust and car body...that would be super ghetto tho
