PLEASE READ: will stock b series header bolt up
i have a 97 jdm itr longblock that i am swapping into my 94 civic coupe with stock exhaust and cat. it came with a jdm 4-2-1 header with 2.5" collector.
if i buy a stock usdm (gsr for example) exhaust manifold with the smaller collector will it bolt up to my completely stock exhaust setup? remember my car is a coupe.
i need something to work temporarily , and i can get a usdm header for pretty cheap if it will work.
my other option is a custom cat to use with the jdm header.
please help. thanks

They will fit, but they will not bolt up properly. If you get a smaller collector or flange it might work.
Who knows the stock diameter (in inches) exhaust piping for a 94 civic coupe?
FYI: Inlinefour.com sells carsound 2.5 and 2.25in cats for $100, and (read sig) 4-1 JDM ITR style DC sport header for $280 - I don't work for them or anything, just letting you know the super good deal.

usdm SI header will bolt up and clear underneath. you'll probly need a new cat too cuz the flange on your cat might be turned the wrong way for the b series header. i ran into that problem when i did my swap with a '00 EX coupe.

Re: PLEASE READ: will stock b series header bolt up (00CIVICwB18C1)
thanks guys, what if i can source like a b18b header and cat from a junkyard? then will it bolt up? i currently have a 00'civic ex stock exhaust on my 94.
although, 100$ for a cat is not bad at all. i might do that so i can use the bigger jdm header and get some better power for the time being.
EDIT: the inlinefour carsound for 100$ is the universal type with no flanges, hybridgarage has a custom carsound with flanges designed for the jdm header for 120$, i dont want to have to drive open header and a muffler shop will definately charge more than 20$ for the flanges and welding, just a heads up.
