Please post opinions on what to do to my EG's taillights
A while back I caught the rice disease and bought the 1st gen altezzas. I've got a 94 Black Coupe. Don't worry, I don't have a bunch of stickers or anything else on the outside of the car besides clear corners. Just wondering what you all think.
Should I: 1. go with stock lights (I don't like the yellow in the turn signals)
2. keep altezzas on (lol i know you guys don't like these)
3. go with red/clears
4. buy the new altezzas in black
5. any other ideas welcome

3 they are probably the best looking taillights you can buy for your car and they have them on ebay usally for 60-80 bux, btw i have a set on my car i just bought from my roommate when his civic was totaled..

keep the tails stock, even the red/clears leak and crack. IMO the stock look best.

the red/clear ones i have not shown any sign of leaking.. they are perfect still.. i did have my friends altezzas on my car for a while and they leaked a lot worse..
one thing you can do when you first buy the red/clear tails is to get some silicone sealent and seal the taillights around the outside just incase they do leak, that way you wont have to remove them once they do start leaking..

I think the red/clears look the best....I sprayed the amber portion red, but I got tired of that so I went back to stock....but I want the red/clears. I don't think all red looks bad...I just wouldn't do the reverse light too(I have seen some like this)

I have a 99 that came with red/clear, i did not like them and went with the 96-98 red/ambers.I like the way black cars look with red/ambers.

Red and whites IMO look the best. I saw a black ex coupe with the carbon fiber altezzas. . .it didn't look that bad.

I'll put in another vote for the red & clears. I'm getting a set to replace my all red & tinted reverse set.

Anybody have a picture of the JDM taillights? All I've decided so far is these damn altezzas must go!

this is probably a stupid question , but do they make a set of tails like the earlier model taillights . Like on the EG's the tails can be done with clear on top and the red on bottom (replacing the amber on the top) . Do they make tails like that for the 99-2000 model line . Where they have the clear for turn and so on on top . I have seen clear tails that have been painted so the lower sections are Red but it looks stupid cuz you can tell that its still the turn signal and reverse light painted red , and the red on those don't look as good . Any ideas ?
