Default Please need help w/ swap

I have a 98 type R swap that i want to put in a 93 bubble. Does anyone know what i have to do as far as wiring is concerned with the OBD II motor going into the OBD I car? Also someone told me something about the R computer has to get "chipped" or something.

use the typer wiring harness. it'll plug and play. depend on what bubble model you got if you got si or vx, the you good to go. if nit the you will have to run the vtec wires. about what ecu you should use chipped p28 then you don't have to run the knock sensor wire. imo you should stay with obd1.

u cant use the type r ecu since it is obd 2. the harness just plugs in if u have the obd 2 dizzy, alternator, and injectors. u can use your stock harness also but u need to use the obd 1 dizzy alternator and fuel injectors and wire up vtec. youll be fine running a chipped p28.

since u are gonna run a obd1 ecu u only need one o2 sensor. and if u decide to run the chipped p28 u dont have to wire up the knock sensor since they dont read it.

well I dont know all that much about b swaps..
but seems to me if you're just gonna throw in a p28 to get it working..
it's not going to be as good as it should..

as the fuel maps, redline, vtec point, etc, will all be for a d16z6 engine..

but yeah, if you get it chipped i'm sure you can get it set to proper hypeARR specs

well it wouldnt plug into your wiring harness for one,
so you'd need a conversion harness...

personally i'd just sell it and get something obdI

obdI owns all!!!
