Has any other 99-00 civic owners have this same problem

Here is the outside( I think the problem is the tab)


I am getting the tint on the passenger side door replaced for the third time in one year. The last time I got it tinted was only two and a half months ago.

I think the problem is the tab on the outside of the window. Does anyone eles have this problem or is it just my car.

Please respond if this has happened to you, or if you know how to stop this from happening. Thank you for any help.

Well first it is covered under warranty rite? and if not i would try to find a diff place because i had a place that has been tinting windows for 23years and they did 3 of my cars and ive had no problems with the tint job.

I can't tell to much what the hell your pics are of man but I have tinted the windows in alot of civic and never had a problem w/ them peeling. If the tint has cured and all it should happen unless they aren't cutting the tint back enough at the top. kinda wierd but might just be me.. Good luck man

Resize those pics man, I can't tell what the **** is going on. Let alone what the **** that's a pic of.

It is only happening on the pssenger side window by the tab( second picture). Every time it is tinted the window doesn't get rolled down for at least a week. The tints are illegal (20%) so the tint shop wont warrenty it. I have tried three diffrent places all with the same result.

sorry about the pic size i don't knoww how to resize them.the pics are of the passenger side window. pic 1 is the inside, where the tint is peeling. pic2 is the out side, where the tab is.

Only suggestion I could make is to take the tint off yourself, make sure that you clean the window REALLY well, get all the old adhesive off, and then try it again. Don't know what else to tell you. It shouldn't be coming off like that.
