PLEASE HELP SAVE MY NOSE
I got t-boned in my 94 dx hatchback last December and finally was able to afford fixing it. Much to my dismay, a family of mice made themselves at home in my heating vents somewhere. The car is at a garage waiting to be inspected and the mechanic refuses to help, so i have to bare this one on my own. Any input on where all I should look for this nest and what I can do to rid the car of this stench as quickly as possible? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: PLEASE HELP SAVE MY NOSE
if they are in your vents then you will should pull your dash to get access to your air ducting/ the main smell of mice urine is ammonia. their is an activated carbon you can buy which will absorb and dissipate the smell. in all honesty i doubt they are in your vents but more likely in your dash or engine bay. check under your cowl(piece under windshield hides your wiper motor) they may be living their and their urine is dripping down. once you find the nest it will be more obvious on what to clean to get rid of the smell.
