please help o2 question
hello i have 1996 honda civic ex coupe some one stole my catlatic converter, so right know i have a straight pipe with no cat so what can i do so that my check engine light gose off and my car run better will appericate your help and if any one have a cat for sale i will buy it thanks....

Go to an auto parts store and buy another one. Pretty simple fix. Or go and buy a weld in O-2 bung for the straight pipe. Mr. Gasket and Moroso both offer them.

true, but if something else causes a CEL, the CEL will all ready be on and you'll not know.

I didn't mean to seem as if I was recommending that he just leave it the way it is. I was just pointing out that he mentioned wanting his car to "run better", which wouldn't be influenced by the secondary O2.
