Yes I believe he is, his ECU is also kinda fucky. I've drove the car, it felt much stronger when I drove it, I was hoping he'd pull mid 13s. I know the torque difference can be tricky to judge from my B-Series, but damn, I expected a whole lot more.

Does the car feel slower after you drive it for a bit?

Your 60' are not that good, but that MPH is really low. Do a compression test and a leakdown test. My friends with a EK coupe full weight (~2600) was hitting those times with ******* 60'.

only ecu code im throwin is egr
i failed nox on my emissions test alot, so i think i may have bad carbon buildup, could that be the prob
thinkin about takin off the head and getting a cleaning, as well as cleaning the pistons off. im just pissed, something is wrong
also could not haveing the black box under the intake manifold hurt me, i believe it controls teh butterflies, which i have always open

this is your problem right there you have them tied SHUT. release them because the spring will always have them open not closed. I've run with my secondaries open all the time and it runs great. Your choking your motor.

Also EGR cleaning doesn't require you to pull the head. There are acess ports on the intake manifold that you drill out and you reach in them and clean them out, then fill the holes with a Genuine Honda part called an EGR port plug.

Also is your EGR even hooked up correctly?

As far as your times go, they are definately well below the average, which you already know.

I agree about getting the engine tested in terms of compression, leakdown, etc. There is something terribly wrong with your set-up.

Your timing could be off, do you have a noticeable lack of power?

Do you have a different fuel pump? My buddy did an H-swap into his 1992 CX and used the stock fuel pump. He ran a 16.3 !

Maybe I missed it, but have you checked:

Cam timing
Ignition timing
Compression
Valve adjustment (or lack thereof)

Until you take our suggestions to heart and try them, any other "miracle in a bottle" remedies will be pointless.

Have you checked any of those? Sorry if I missed where you had...
