Could have been tires or clutch. Maybe even the brake if you do like some of the guys in my town and pull the E-Brake before they do a burnout.

if it doesn't go away u might need a new one
it all depends on how bad it was
when i got my si i did a wet burn out once and my gorage reeked for about a week
but it jsut went away and my clutch was fine
jusst give it a week if it's still there or your clutch feels funny replace it

Oh it can be done...i'll have b16a ferio vouch for me. It took about me about 30 seconds to get up to speed...it was good times

(you do it by feathering the clutch until you get going)

And no, I have a 5 speed...

maybe you got the distributor wet. in my old car they left the splash guards off when i got into an accident, and when i went through a huge puddle the car started sputtering and smelling like sulfur i figured it was a bad wire or something but i sold it before i could find out.. did it smell like burning bleach or eggs?
