Please help me
Ok guys just had a few questions. A while back I bought a 92si with a d16y8 in place of the d16z6... Unfortunately it ran like **** with a loud *** knocking. I'm kind of confused on a couple of things about it and I'm wondering if the reason for it running shitty might have been because of how the swap was done.
1.) First thing is he's using the P28 ecu which is the stock si ECU most of you know this.... Is it even supposed to work with the D16Y8?
2.) When I asked him he told me he didn't do any modifying to the wiring harness so.... i'm just real confused on how this obd2 motor is running in that car....
3.) sorry if this question is stupid Duuuuuuuuhhhhh *droolz* *crosseyed*

1) yes it'll work fine if....
2) if he swapped all the obd1 stuff from the Z6, the harness will plug in fine to the y8
just go to http://www.attarco.com and buy a jdm d15b vtec. you cant beat the price.
