Please help..how do i fix this?
i just went in to get my car aligned and it couldn't be done....well...the main concern is the front left caster is 0.1 degrees (range is 0.7 to 2.7). how do i repair this? or is it even fixable?
also the front/rear camber is SLIGHTLY out of spec (car is lowered about 1.75"), but im not really worried about this.
toe is a little out but not bad....this would not have posed a problem.
my main question is about the caster and what to do next? please help because i don't know what to do...and im pretty ****** pissed right now. i did not expect this as a problem. the car was purchased from a friend and i guess the dumbass hit a curb or something, ******* up the LF caster, and he must have "forgot" to tell me.

The lower or upper control arm may be bent a little. most likely the outboard (ball joint) end of the lower arm is pushed tword the rear of the car. It takes less than an hour to swap a LCA in your driveway. Hopefully that is it.
Another more ghetto way (but viable if your frame is tweaked) would be to slightly enlarge the mounting hole of the front LCA bushing this will let you push the wheel foreward a little before you tighten the bolt down. There is a really thick steel tube that makes up the middle of the bushing so you could afford to loose a few MM by enlarging the hole. come to think of it you could have the busings on the upper control arm pushed a little to one side in a press...good luck

^^ those work.. but i would not drill holes in my car.. take it to a frame shop and have them bend the arns back.. or try replacingthem first.. then get it realigned.. sucks cause honda does not have caster adj..or camber.

I wasn't talking about drilling the car jsut the bushing insert which can be replaced for 30 bucks if needed.
The caster kit idea is better though. Get the Specialty Products camber kit which just replaces the upper ball joint. it is supposed to just adjust camber by orientating the slot from left to right. All you would need to do is install it 90 degrees off so the slot goes front to back. Or you could angle it somewhere in between and do camber and caster at the same time.
