Default Please help.. Gauge cluster completely out.. PLEASE!!!!

Ok the speedo cluster is out.. no tach, no speedo, no fuel and water temp. When i start the car the Batt and SRS lights come on.. Then nothing.. I dont have turn signals at all.. Not sure if it matters but the clock on the dash doesnt work either. When i put the hazards on they light up on the dash. Same with the brights.. But other then that nothing.. Please help i need to register the car soon..

Also its a 92 si the idiot i bought the car from said he was messing with the stereo.. which is a pioneer unit.. And the stuff went out.. He isbnt being helpful either...

Once again thank you,

Brandon

The harnesses run parallel, but I can't remember if they are on the same harness or two harnesses.

Same harness as cluster. Just go through the wires as obviously he screwed up somewheres.

Sounds like a short somewhere. I've seen this alot. On most Hondas the radio harness and cluster harness are tied together. Does your radio fuse blow at all? Ever? And do your tail lights work?

No heres the funny thing.. looking at the scamatics from shopkey.. a red/black wire is the only one that goes to both of them.. now.. he didnt hack the factory harness but when he put the adapter in he left a couple of hot wires exposed and contacting ground.. Now the idiot also cut the 8 guage amp power cable and wrapped the power for the head unit around that!!! oh yeah and didnt even tape it off or tell me about it.. So i dont have a clue were to go from here..
