I have had no problems with my swap for 3 months. Now i cant rev over 3000 rpm. The cel is on and it gives me code 41. i am running a 92 hatch VX with a 98 b18c1. using a chipped p28 obd-1. o2 sensor heater unit? what can i do for this? i tried switching out the o2 sensor, still same problem? Please help me!

41 I believe is the Primary o2 sensor. Did you swap it out with new one? It's causing your car to run in "limp mode". Try doing an engine check again to make sure its 41.

The primary o2 is the first one on the cat rite?...cuz im running the set up of an obd2 with an obd1 computer so the second isnt used. i still have code 41 which is the heater unit of the o2 sensor. any suggestions? i have switched out the o2 on the first on already.

how many wire is the o2? if its a 5 wire, sell it to me, and go buy a 4 wire o2.

Check the resistance of the o2 heater. It should be 10 - 40 ohms. It's the two black wires. If the heater checks ok, you have a wiring problem.

i just got that same CEL 41, but my car runs fine, i can still rev up to the rev limiter. Must be something else wrong with it.

Well, that got a response! It's a fairly common problem. I guess this thread is officially highjacked now.
