You need a FTP sensor...plain and simple.
Even if you try and fool the ECU by supplying it with a similar voltage to that of the FTP sensor, the ECU, when it runs its test concerning the FTP sensor, will be looking for a change in voltage to make sure things are cool.

where is the FTP sensor located and is it hard to replace? Also what kind of FTP sensor should I get?
