Please help
Can somebody please help me. I have a 95 honda civic dx, I just put a new block in it but now it wont start all the way up. I cant get any spark from the plugs, i cant even get a spark from the coil, ive tried 3 different ones(not new)but still cant get anything. So i got my test light to make sure its getting power and it is, but still no spark. Somebody pleas help thanks.

Re: Please help
Use a multimeter to ohm test the coil and to check whether 12.5V reaches the distributor.

Re: Please help
The voltage test would be red on + (the black-yellow wire going into the distributor) and black on ground.
I have found ohm tests of a coil to be fraught with false negatives (they tell you the coil is good when it is actually bad). |

Perhaps we can resolve this minor dispute with a discussion. [I really don't expect a response because mk typically will not engage in forum discussions. :(] |
