please help
ok i just bought a 98 honda civic hx automatic it needs a bracket for the trans mount i cant find it anywhere its not like the other civics the mount sits in the fender well instead of on the side of the frame???

The diagram I posted shows that #2 and #6 are the ones you took pics of.
Are you sure you need the mounts and not rather the studs coming out of the tranny aren't broken off?

no if you look real good at the first pic the mount and the bracket are fine the bracket is not right for the car becouse they are using two brackets that are bolted together to make one bracket

#6 in the diagram looks like what you need. It is one piece that the upper mount bolts to, and then the #6 bolts directly to the topside of the tranny outer case.
Does that not look right to you?
I pulled up 1998 Civic HX automatic for that diagram. That's directly from Honda's own parts catalog exploded diagrams, so what ever is different on your car is wrong I suppose.

i dont think its right unless theres a special bracket that bolts to number 6 is it possible that the hx trans is diffrent and maybe it was replaced im gonna go get the numbers off of it ill be right back and let you know
