Re: please help (96ls)
I was under the impression that they never made a B series VTEC motor automatic (except for the one that was out in japan for the del sol for 1 year).
To do this you need a GSR motor with an auto LS tranny and then get an ecu chipped.
Why not just swap an auto LS? It would be alot easier.

Yeah, I just checked that site you gave.......the tranny says "hydraulic." Last I checked auto trannies weren't hydraulic. That comment to Luserkid has got to be one of the most ignorant things ever. I'm willing to bet everything I have that he knows more than you ever will about cars.

Re: please help (jL iLLuZiOnz 9)
ok the point is .. AUTO GSR SWAPS WERE MADE ... that isnt the question .. the question was .. does anyone know anything about them ... YOU DUMBASS'S OBVIOUSLY dont .. so go post somewhere where you can help someone instead of argue with them . the whole post was a waste . all you guys did was gave me some of your stupidity .. I feel dumber reading your responses . yes auto gsr swaps were made japanstarmotor.com .. go to nosecuts on the main page .. they are 2050 $ ... does that seem right for a 5 speed swap .. no . OF COURSE NOT they are so cheap because no one buys them and they obviously dont sell much . you are stupid idiots thanks for wasting my time .

Re: please help (93dxhatch)
why would people have knowledge about something that doesn't exist?
so the page says $2,050. it could be a typo for $2,500.
like i said, if you can't show evidence, then your thread is as useless as both of you.

then why don't you call them and find out?...if you're too lazy to do that then just stay out of this thread

not all of us are a phone call away, and not all of us have the luxury to stay on the phone to get YOU answers. why don't you call them back and have them answer your question instead?
please understand that this is the world wideweb, so unless you want to pay my phone bill please abide to forum rules and be polite.

yes there are auto gsr's in japan- and as long as these situations are met like in 5sp situations it will work- obd/ knock sensors etc its just all the same tranny is still 4sp auto as i understand it though so in comparrison to a 5sp gsr you would probably be spanked by an ls still with and auto gsr

Re: please help (96ls)
to answer the original questions...
a) i know for a fact that there are Bseries autos (euro VTi's with auto were available by order).
b) an auto transmission will work like any auto transmission no matter how many gears it has.
c) you will need a bseries auto ecu
what else do you need to know?
