PLEASE ANSWER ! About 92 Civic Hatchbac DX!
I have a 92 Civic Hatchback DX, I have heard previously that the 92 Civic dx/lx was the only year set aside from the 93-95 dx/lx prewired for vtec.... now the reason y i want to know is because i am planning to do a mini me swap with a z6 head, and i was wondering if i still need to get a subharness for the vtec ? And also another question that i wanted to ask is if the distributors for 92-95 Si were all the same, because my friend told me that the 92-93 z6 distributor was different from the 94-95 z6 distributor ... true or false?

first off your car is prewired for VTEC in the Shock tower harness, not the engine bay. This means that you have the wires going to your ecu but not your engine. You will need a subharness. Second off, I am pretty sure all SOHC VTEC distributors are the same. Third, don't waste your money on the mini-me unless you get a sohc vtec tranny. You really wont feel that much of a gain other wise.
